About
My love for baking began early, standing next to my mom in the kitchen from the age of six. Those moments sparked more than a skill, they nurtured a lifelong passion for creating through food. The kitchen has always been a place of calm, creativity, and expression for me, and that love has only deepened with time.
I hold an undergraduate degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management, with a specialization in Food and Beverage, and I am currently completing a Master of Divinity as part of my preparation for ministry. My journey has also been shaped by military service as an Army Reserve chaplain candidate, where I have learned the importance of serving others with dignity, discipline, and compassion; values that guide both my ministry and my work.
Faith has always been a steady presence in my life. I grew up in the church, attending Sunday school each week and midweek services with my older sister, guided by my mother’s commitment to keeping faith at the center of our home. Although I never envisioned myself in ministry, God placed a clear calling on my life to serve His people, and I have chosen to walk in obedience to that call.
Reverent & Sweet was created from that place of calling, care, and intention. This home-based bakery offers thoughtfully crafted cakes, cupcakes, and cupcake bouquets, designed for celebrations, ceremonies, and moments that call for something gentle and comforting. Alongside the bakery, I also provide faith-rooted chaplain and officiant services, including weddings, vow renewals, christenings, funerals, premarital counseling and other sacred occasions.
Whether through desserts shared or words spoken, my desire is to create experiences that feel peaceful, intentional, and deeply respectful. Every order and every service is approached with care, quality, and reverence, honoring both God and the people I am privileged to serve during life’s most meaningful moments.
